Up to £88,000 is to be invested to repair the U101 Edenavaddy Road in Ballynahinch.
Drainage and resurfacing works will be carried out over a 950-metre stretch of the route from its junction with Grover Road to its junction with Chestnut Road on Monday, 23 July.
The scheme, which will deliver significant improvements to both the structural integrity and surface quality of the road, is expected to be substantially completed by Friday, 24 August.
To carry out the works safely, the Edenavaddy Road will be closed from its junction with Grove Road to its junction with Chestnut Road between 8am and 5pm from 23 July to 24 August. Diversions will be in place.
