BAM Ireland has won a new contract worth over €25 million to build a new cheese production facility and administration building at Mogeely, Co. Cork.
The company secured the deal from TINE Ireland - a subsidiary of the Norwegian dairy cooperative TINE.
With an estimated capacity of 14,000T of cheese per annum, the proposed building will be developed on a greenfield site adjoining the existing Dairygold Mogeely site.
To prepare the site for building foundations, a significant volume of earthworks will be carried out with construction starting this month. Completion is scheduled for November next year.
