More than €2,000 has been awarded to Coiste Forbartha Charraig Airt to enable the committee to erect signpost information around the town.
The €2,125 grant is being approved under the Gaeltacht action of the 20 Year Strategy for the Irish Language 2010-2030.
Minister of State for the Irish Language, the Gaeltacht and the Islands, Joe McHugh, said: "I understand the wonderful work and excellent effort of this active committee to erect Irish signs around the area. I'm sure the people of the area and tourists on the Wild Atlantic Way will benefit from the content of the grant."
