Work Starts On £100,000 Footway Upgrade In Newtownards

Work has started on a £100,000 footway upgrade project in Newtownards, Co Down.

The 1.4km resurfacing scheme will take place at U9012, Victoria Road, Victoria Crescent, Victoria Park and Victoria Gardens. Overall, the project aims to greatly improve the surface quality of the development.

Work is scheduled to be complete by the end of October, subject to weather conditions.

For safety reasons, temporary traffic signals will be operation during the course of the project.
