Work is to begin on a £110,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme in Belfast.
The scheme on Millfield will see city bound lanes from Carrick Hill to Francis Street repaired. Work is due to begin on Tuesday, 18 September with completion set for 28 September.
For safety reasons, road closures will be in place during off peak hours. There will be no through traffic on North Street, between Royal Avenue and Peters Hill in both directions; and no through traffic on Carrick Hill coming from Donegall Street to Peters Hill. The timing of closures will be:
• 18 – 20 September from 8pm - 6am
• 24 – 28 September from 8pm to 6am.
On 20 – 27 September, road closures will start from 10pm to facilitate late night shopping. Diversion routes will be in place.
