Work On £275,000 Whiteabbey Flood Alleviation Scheme Complete

Lowry Building and Civil Engineering has completed work on a £275,000 flood alleviation scheme in Whiteabbey, Belfast.

The project involved reducing the risk of flooding to 29 properties in the area by replacing an existing inadequate and structurally defective masonry culvert.

In addition, a new precast concrete box culvert was built in Glenville Way, while scour protection works were carried out downstream of the Shore Road.
