More than 100 homes owned by Radius Housing have received energy efficiency upgrades.
Funding secured from the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme (NISEP) has helped the Association carry out upgrades to 108 properties, with additional insulation improvements carried out to 10 of the homes.
Fusion Heating Limited, one of Radius Housing's heating maintenance contractors, secured the NISEP funding following a successful bid to the programme. Energy efficiency upgrades included replacing old inefficient oil heating systems with modern energy efficient natural gas boilers and upgrading loft insulation where required.
Mark Kerr, planned works contract manager at Fusion Heating, said: "Fusion were delighted to be able to secure NISEP funding on behalf of Radius and to complete heating and insulation upgrades which will make it much easier for tenants to keep their homes warm going forward.
"We hope to deliver heating upgrades to a further 400 Radius tenants through our 2018/19 Housing Association Scheme, as well as assisting around 380 residents living in private sector accommodation through our 3 other NISEP Schemes."
