Park And Ride Facility Extended In Belfast

The Blacks Road Park and Ride facility in Belfast has been successfully extended.

The £870,000 project delivered 307 additional spaces, including eight dedicated parking bays as well as cycle parking facilities.

It will be officially opened to the public on Monday 19 November.

The increase in the number of spaces, as part of the Department's wider Strategic Park and Ride Delivery Programme 2016-2020, underpins a number of key draft Programme for Government outcomes in relation to sustainability, connectivity and an increase in the use of public transport, walking and cycling.
