Keeping Momentum In The Irish Adhesives Industry

Construction News Image
ECT Adhesives has added another two international manufacturing brands to its impressive portfolio.

Earlier this year ECT added Jowat Hot melt and edgebanding adhesives. This relationship also sees ECT being the sole distributor on the Island of Ireland for the Riepe range of edgebanding cleaning chemicals. The addition of Jowat's impressive array of hot melt and pressure sensitive adhesives rounds out an exciting new product choice for operators across the Irish construction industry.

Later, they added the Tremco–Illbruck and Nullifire range of systems to their already impressive portfolio of adhesives and sealants. With Tremco providing additional products such as membrane tapes and solutions for air tightness efficiencies in the window construction and installation industry, Illbruck also strengthens their silicone and hybrid technology offerings. This brings stability to the increasing prices on silicones in the current market place. With the Nullifire brand they now have a wide range of fire retardant materials which has become particularly significant in recent months.

ECT does not just sell a product, they take an application from the beginning to the end providing expert advice and support throughout. Their experienced and knowledge based technical sales staff have years of adhesive experience and they have a specialist adhesive chemist who works closely on all applications.

ECT is dedicated to exceeding their customer expectations by providing quality adhesive, encapsulation and sealing solutions to the Irish construction and manufacturing industry, incorporating the highest levels of technical support and customer service.

Founded in 2000, ECT Adhesives supplies the Irish Construction and High Technology Assembly Industries with a wide range of adhesives, sealants and bonding materials. They also supply various other industries including the packaging, woodworking, glass and many other market segments. Their adhesive solutions cover a range of adhesives, encapsulants, coatings, sealants and tapes as well as the associated dispensing and curing equipment used in the manufacturing and assembly processes.
