Castlewellan Carriageway To Undergo Resurfacing Works

Resurfacing work is to begin on the Ballylough Road in Castlewellan, Co Down.

The £265,000 scheme will begin on Monday 07 January on a 1.5km section of the road from its junction with the Drumnaquoile Road to beyond its junction with the Ballywillwill Road.

As well as improving the structure of the road, the project will also upgrade the road drainage.

A daily weekday road closure will be implemented between 9am and 4.30pm during the work.

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted.

The project is expected to be completed by 25 January.
