Work is continuing to repair a burst water main in Celbridge, Co Kildare.
The incident was first reported yesterday, 06 January, with a team working into the night to alleviate the problem.
The burst is impacting customers in the Clane Road and Abbey Road estates and surrounding areas.
Irish Water and Kildare County Council hope to restore the water supply to local customers this morning, 07 January.
However full water service may take some time to return as water refills the network.
The utility has apologised for the inconvenience caused by the burst main.
