FK Lowry Piling's Rig Operator, William Cooke has been recognised for his work on the Spencer Dock North Project in Dublin.
William won the PJ Hegarty Positive Safety Award for January 2019, celebrating his meticulous control of vehicle movements, maintaining the piling rig high risk exclusion zone and spotter for the concrete hose on the ground and around the auger drill.
The prize, awarded on Wednesday 22 January, was donated to a children's charity fund at William's request.
Kate Scully, PJ Hegarty Project Safety Manager, commented: "Due to a great team effort and Willie's generosity to donate his prize to a charity fund, PJ Hegarty have arranged breakfast for the piling crew. Thank you for all your help and support over the past 2 months, it is a pleasure to work with you all.”
