Irish Water has launched a project to reduce leakage in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, as part of its national programme.

Work is underway to replace ageing mains with new service connections in St Aidan's Villas and Bellefield Road.

Further works will include replacing 1.8km of water mains in the public street of Bellefied Road, Moran Park, Bellefield Terrace and Redmond Street.

When complete, the project will ensure a more secure and reliable water supply for the locals.
