Kilwaughter Minerals is mourning the loss of Company Director, John Hefferman.

Mr Hefferman died suddenly on Sunday 10 February.

He started working for the revenue group back in 2007, and was later promoted to Company Director during the economic downturn in Ireland, when the business was experiencing its most difficult period.

In a statement, the company's Managing Director Simon McDowell said: "John's determination and commitment to the business was instrumental in making the business the success it is today.

"Our thoughts are with John's family and colleagues in Ovens at this very difficult time."
