£10.5m Housing Scheme Progresses In South Belfast

Construction News Image
A £10.5 million housing scheme in South Belfast has reached a major milestone as work begins on the second phase of work.

Hagan Homes' Seventy Six South private development in the Village area will include 76 three-bed semi-detached homes when fully complete.

A total of 24 homes were constructed during the first phase of work, all of which have been booked.

The second phase will include the delivery of 14 new properties. These homes are now on release with prices starting from £145k.

A total of 50 construction jobs have been created since the project launched in June 2018.

The overall development is scheduled for completion in 2022.

Jim Burke, Director of Sales and Acquisitions with Ballyclare-based Hagan Homes, said: "It is really encouraging that the first phase of Seventy Six South development in South Belfast has sold so quickly. That means we can now progress construction and release of the second phase of a further 14 three-bedroom semi-detached homes.

"There was significant interest in phase one given the location of the homes, their proximity to the city centre, two major hospitals, schools, restaurants and leisure facilities. It's also only a two-minute walk to the nearest bus stop and a five-minute drive to the A12 Westlink and M1 Motorway. Essentially Seventy Six South offers convenient living with everything on your doorstep."

Mr Burke added: "Each three-bedroom, semi-detached home is finished to the highest standard with a generous turnkey package, including a fully fitted stylish kitchen and modern bathroom suite. All homes also include the NHBC 10-year guarantee for peace of mind.

"We also offer buying schemes such as Fair Share to help you make your perfect property yours."

The show home at Seventy Six South is open every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm.
