A construction milestone has been celebrated at TU Dublin's new Grangegorman campus.
Staff from the GDA, TU Dublin, SISK FCC and representatives from the National Development Finance Agency attended a topping out ceremony on the East Quad Buildings.
When complete these buildings will accommodate staff and students of the College of Arts and Tourism, including its programmes relating to the creative and cultural industries, and will include a 400 seat music performance hall, music, dance & drama performance & practice spaces and creative arts and media studios.
The project is progressing on time and on budget
Sisk FCC is a joint venture set up between John Sisk & Son and Spanish construction company, FCC Construction. The project consists of the two buildings and represents the largest PPP (Public Private Partnership) project in the education sector. They are working in collaboration on this project with key stakeholders the Grangegorman Development Agency, Macquarie Capital and the NDFA to deliver this educational infrastructure.
