Social Housing Scheme Moves Forward In Clare

A new €5 million social housing development is moving forward in Miltown Malbay, Co Clare, with construction expected to begin next year.

Clare County Council announced the consultants appointed to the design team, comprising Hassett Leyden Flynn (Architects), P. Coleman & Associates (Civil & Structural Engineers), Moloney Fox Consulting Engineers (Mechanical & Electrical Engineers) and Tom McNamara & Partners (Quantity Surveyors).

The Ballard Road scheme will include 27 properties including a collection of four-bed, three-bed and two-bed specifically adapted units and two-bed apartments.

It is being funded by the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government and is scheduled for completion in 2021
