Surveys are taking place on the existing sewer network in Monaghan town to determine condition and help prioritise future upgrades.
Spearheaded by Irish Water, the works include CCTV surveys and the installation of rainfall, flow, depth and conductivity monitors and data collection of the sewer and manholes. Some minor road works and traffic management are required for a limited time to facilitate the works.
These works are part of the Monaghan Drainage Area Plan. McBreen Environmental Services Ltd is carrying out the work in partnership with Arup.
