A series of water main works are moving forward in the coastal town of Bray in County Wicklow.
These works will see 950 metres of new water mains installed along Vevay Road. New service connections will also be introduced from the new water main to customers' properties.
Irish Water has also issued a notice to customers in the area regarding a potential water supply disruption tomorrow, Wednesday 17 July, from 8.30am until 12.30pm.
Homes and businesses in the affected areas may be impacted by reduced water pressure and water outages. Following these improvement works, water supply may take 2-3 hours to return as water refills the network.
These works are being carried out as part of Irish Water's national Leakage Reduction Programme which will see €500 million invested up to the end of 2021 to reduce the level of leakage across the country by fixing and replacing ageing water mains.
