Innovative Play Equipment Installed In Meath

A local park in Carlanstown, Co Meath, has been boosted with new innovative play equipment.

Director of Services at Meath County Council, Barry Lynch visited Deerpark Community Park last week to open the new facility.

Targeted at children under 12, the new Agility Trail was developed by Carlanstown Kilbeg Community Development for the area. It was funded via a grant secured from the Healthy Ireland Fund which is administered by the Community section through the Local Community Development Committee (LCDC).

Access to the park including the new agility equipment has also been greatly improved with a new footpath which was grant aided through the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
