Forest Service Welcomes Engagement On Tyrone & Fermanagh Plans

Forestry planning in West Tyrone and East Fermanagh/East Tyrone has opened for public engagement.

The Forest Service is calling for involvement to develop a plan for the promotion of afforestation and sustainable forestry in these areas.

These Forestry Plans help shape the future aims and benefits obtained from the forests. The plan will be focused on the management of Forest Service forests, and is intended that it will also consider management of forests and woodland managed by others.

The public consultation will run until 27 September 2019.
