A series of leakage reduction works are moving forward on the water supply network in County Cork.
Irish Water is set to carry out improvements on Wellington Road today, 31 July, with disruptions anticipated in the area.
Those in the following areas may be affected by a water supply disruption: Wellington Road, Griffith College Cork, Cork Educate Together Secondary School, Waterloo Terrace, Waterloo Place, Charlemont Terrace, Wellesley Terrace, Grosvenor Place, York Hill, York Terrace, Sidney Park, Belgrave Avenue, Sidney Place, Auburn House Guesthouse, Sheila's Hostel, Active Centre of English Training, St. Patrick's Hill and surrounding areas.
This warning is in place from 10am to 2pm.
Following these improvement works water supply may take 2-3 hours to return as water refills the network.
The works are being carried out as part of Irish Water's national Leakage Reduction Programme.
