Sandyford Route To Close For Improvement Works

A section of the Hillcrest Road in Sandyford, County Dublin, is set to close for upgrades.

Road patching and safety improvement works will be delivered on the route from its junction of Kilgobbin Road to the junction with Enniskerry Road.

It will be closed from Monday 19 August to Friday 23 August between the hours of 9am and 5pm to facilitate the project.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion route will be clearly signposted. Access to Sandyford Village/Sandyford Road from Kilgobbin Road will be unaffected. Local access to Hillcrest Road will be maintained.

Diversion of traffic will be via Kilgobbin Road and Enniskerry Road and vice versa.

Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council's Road Maintenance Section will carry out the works.
