Road Works Announced In Carrickfergus

Pinewood Avenue in Carrickfergus is set to close for resurfacing work later this month.

The £94,000 scheme will see the road improved from Northland to Sandes Court.

Work will begin on Monday 19 August and run until Friday 13 September.

A full weekday closure will in operation between 7am and 6pm during the works, with a diversion in place via Northland, Sunnylands Avenue and Sandes Court.

Access for residents will be facilitated throughout.

Road users should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the area.
