Dungannon Roads To Undergo Upgrades

Two roads in Dungannon are set to undergo significant upgrades worth a total £340,000.

These schemes will see surfaces on the Killyman Road and Trewmount Road improved to address ongoing maintenance problems. The footpaths along these sections of road will also be resurfaced as part of the project.

Full road closures will be in place in the County Tyrone town to facilitate the works.


Trewmount Road will be closed from Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 August and on Monday 26 and 27 August. Diversions will be via Tamnamore Road and Bovean Road.

Killyman Road will be closed from Monday 02 to Sunday 08 September with diversions via Moy Road, Gortmerron Link Road and Far Circular Road.

Preliminary works are currently ongoing at both locations with lane closures in place. Access to homes and businesses will be accommodated during the works.

Road users should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the area.
