Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council is set to host a public discussion on a proposed masterplan for Shanganagh Park & Cemetery.
This masterplan sets out a strategic vision for the park which creates a framework within which individual projects can take place. It will maximise the potential of the park and will prevent a piece meal approach to any future developments. It will also guide staff on the ground and the team within the parks division.
The Council's ultimate goal is to upgrade the park to regional status.
An information evening will be held on Thursday 29 August in Woodbrook College from 5pm to 7.30pm. This will allow those interested to discuss the masterplan and pose questions.
