A conference is set to be held in Dublin next month regarding the future of engineering education.
Hosted by national body Engineers Ireland, the event will address future engineering skills, academic standards and graduate mobility.
A number of esteemed speakers will be in attendance to share ideas on engineering education and shape Engineers Ireland's accreditation process. Those confirmed include: William Beausang from the Department of Education and Skills; Prof Mike Murphy, European Society for Engineering Education; Prof Aoife Ahern, University College Dublin; Maria Kyne, Limerick Institute of Technology; Alan Spillane, Limerick Institute of Technology; and several more.
This conference will be of interest to engineering educators, learning and development professionals, engineering managers and policymakers.
It is taking place on Wednesday 30 October at Engineers Ireland's headquarters in Dublin from 9am to 4pm.
