Northern Ireland contractor Farrans has been recognised for its 'people' agenda with a gold Investors in People award.
The firm was handed the prestigious accreditation in people management in recognition of its positive and progressive approach in recent years.
The company, which operates throughout the UK and Ireland, has invested in numerous areas including performance management, leadership development and employee engagement.
In the recent assessment, only the top 17% of companies assessed received Gold standard or higher. Farrans also ranked within the top ten of more than 50 similar-sized companies in the sector.
Farrans MD, John Wilson, commented: "This is a fantastic achievement. It is testament to the improvement journey we have been on over the three years since our last accreditation when we achieved Silver.
"Congratulations to our management and employees alike whose positive approach has contributed to this success."
