Water supply has been restored to homes and businesses following a lightning strike yesterday, 22 September.
A pumping station in the area was reportedly struck by lightning, resulting in an electrical fault that caused the water outage.
This affected Irish Water customers in Blanchardstown, Ballycoolen, Mulhuddard and St Margaret's.
Work was completed to repair the pumping station in the late afternoon yesterday. The water supply was then returned to the network.
