Roadworks Announced In L'Derry

A route running into L'Derry city is set to close for resurfacing work next week.

The Trench Road will be improved from near the Curryfree Road junction south westwards for a distance of approximately 800 metres.

This £171,000 scheme will get underway on Monday 30 September and run until Monday 14 October.

A full road closure will be in place from 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. A signed diversion will be in operation via Trench Road, Strabane Old Road, Woodside Road, A5 Victoria Road and Duncastle Road. Local access for residents and landowners will be facilitated.

Drivers should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the area.
