Yanmar Adds B95W Wheeled Excavator To UK & Ireland Fleet

Construction News Image
The class-leading B95W wheeled excavator has become the latest product to be added to Yanmar Compact Equipment Europe's (CEE) fleet.

The equipment supplier has strengthened its UK and Ireland demo fleet with the new addition.

Featuring a 74.4kW (101HP) EU Stage IV/ EPA Tier 4 Final engine, the B95W delivers 410Nm torque at 2,000rpm. Exhaust gas after-treatment reduces emissions by up to 90%, through an improved combustion/injection system and diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC).

The 9,500kg model achieves a digging force of 42.6kN (bucket) / 53.2kN (arm), 8.1m reach and 4,080mm dig depth. Due to a pendulum axle (11.5° angle), the excavator is extremely stable – even on uneven ground – and guarantees high terrain mobility.

A hydraulic system with four independent circuits offers complete operator flexibility. The driver can simultaneously operate a tilt rotator with a hydraulic quick-hitch system and a hydraulically-driven tool (such as a sorting grab, asphalt cutter or cutting unit).

Adopting Yanmar's Smart Control operating system, operators benefit from a re-designed display, keypad with extra large keys and finger-tip control of oil flow, alongside simple hydraulic activation via the joystick.

Three boom options are available (standard articulated, long dipperstick and circular boom), alongside a wide variety of highly-versatile attachment tools. Yanmar's demo unit has also been fitted with a Steelwrist tiltrotator (complete with X-Drive), enabling angled digging to excavate around objects or create narrow channels via simple joystick control.

David Cockayne, Area Sales Manager UK/IRL at Yanmar CEE, commented: "The best way to experience a Yanmar excavator is to operate one. By expanding our demo fleet with the B95W wheeled excavator, we aim to provide a simple way for operators to get up close and personal with the latest Yanmar equipment and see what really sets it apart from the crowd."
