Dublin City Council's recent deferral of the proposed redevelopment of O'Devaney Gardens has prompted Sinn Féin to call a public meeting.
The local authority deferred the planned sale of the land at a meeting last night, 07 October.
Local Sinn Féin councillor, Janice Boylan has urged representatives across the political spectrum to work together to agree a new plan.
Cllr Boylan said: "We just have one opportunity to get this right. It is important that the local community are front and centre to the debate and the discussions on O'Devaney's future.
"I am therefore encouraging people to come along tonight to the public meeting."
