Twaddell Avenue in Belfast is set to close for resurfacing work from next week.
The Department for Infrastructure is carrying out £200,000 works on the route between the Ballygomartin Road and the Crumlin Road roundabout.
Work will begin on Monday 28 October and run until Friday 08 November.
A daily weekday road closure will be in place from 9.30am to 4.30pm during these dates.
A diversionary route will operate via Ballygomartin Road and Woodvale Road. Access for residents will be maintained in the area for the duration of the works.
Road users have been warned to expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when planning any journey.
