Preparatory Works Underway On Limerick Sewer Scheme

A project to install a new wastewater sewer in the County Limerick village of Adare has been launched.

Preparatory site investigation works have begun on the Deerpark site from the junction with the L1422 and N21 to Embury Close.

It will take place from Monday 25 November to Wednesday 27 November between 10am and 4pm and between 7pm and 11pm.

Traffic management in the form of a stop go system will be in place.

An alternative route has been outlined for the duration of the work:

• R518 from Rathkeale to Askeaton

• N69 Askeaton to M18 Dock Road Motorway Interchange, Limerick

• M18 Dock Rd Motorway Interchange to the M18/M20 Motorway Interchange

• M18/M20 Motorway interchange to M20 / N20 Attyflynn junction.

Irish Water is leading these works in partnership with Limerick City and County Council.
