The key planning issues which face Northern Ireland have been revealed in a new government document.
Angus Kerr, the Chief Planner for Northern Ireland released an update on the issues.
Some outlined in the document include an update on the progress of Local Development Plans across 11 Local Authorities and their timetables, as well as the introduction of a Northern Ireland Planning Monitoring Framework to assess performance.
Other topics highlighted were the Department for Infrastructure's approach to major policy change in the absence of local ministers and Continuous Development in the context of John Irvine's report into the efficiency and effectiveness of the planning system.
