L'Derry Village Set For Resurfacing Work

Roadworks have been announced near the Co L'Derry village of Claudy.

Work will take place on the Baranailt Road, starting on Monday 24 February and running until Saturday 07 March.

The Department for Infrastructure is investing £226,000 in the project, which will begin near the junction with the Foreglen Road and proceed along Baranailt Road for a distance of 1.4 kilometres.

A road closure will be in operation for the duration of the work, with a two way signed diversion available via A6 Foreglen Road and B192 Drumrane Road. Access for residents and landowners will be maintained.

Drivers should expect some delays and are advised to leave additional time when planning any journeys in the area.
