A key resurfacing scheme has begun in the coastal Antrim village of Cushendall.
Approximately £298,000 is being invested to improve the Ballyeamon Road over 2.5km from near Gaults Road towards the Glenravel Road.
Work begun on the scheme today, Monday 09 March, and will run until Sunday 22 March.
A full road closure will be in place from 7.30am to 5.30pm daily for the duration of the project.
During these times a diversion will be in operation via Glenariffe Road – Coast Road – Ballyeamon Road (and vice-versa).
Drivers should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the area.
