Carty Contractors is to start work to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in Littlepace, Dublin.

The work involves the installation of new valves on the pipeline that runs through Deerhaven Park. Carty Contractors is working on behalf of Irish Water to deliver the works which will start on Wednesday, 27 October, and are scheduled to be completed within five weeks. The installation of the valves will help to conserve water in the Dublin 15 area as well as improve water pressure for homes and businesses in the area.

The works may involve some short-term water shut offs and the project team will ensure that customers are given a minimum of 48 hours notice before any planned water shut offs.
