Work Continues To Improve Water Supply In Louth

Work is continuing to improve the water supply in Louth.

Irish Water is carrying out water mains flushing and some customers may experience water discolouration, outages and/or low water pressure for short periods until 6pm on Friday 30 October.

The work will benefit customers on The Long Walk, The Demense Road, Father Murray Park, O'Hanlon Park, Culhane Street, The Laurels, Legion Avenue, Phillip Street, Castletown Road, St Nicholas Ave, Bridge Street, Dundalk and surrounding areas.

It may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers however it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
