Energia Extends Contract With Kennedy's Food Stores

Irish energy supplier Energia has extended its contract with Kennedy's Food Stores.

The firm will provide 100% green energy throughout each of its stores. Founded in 2007 by Sarah Kennedy, Kennedy's Food Stores is an independent, award winning café and catering specialist dedicated to creating interesting, healthy food and serving ethically sourced coffee.

100% owned and operated by Sarah and her husband Shane Bourke, Kennedy's has grown to include outlets in Fairview, Raheny, Clontarf and Phibsboro. Kennedy's also provides food services to many of the leading tech companies in Dublin city and is opening a store in the new TUD Grangegorman campus.

Sarah Kennedy, Kennedy's Food Stores said: "Our coffee is organic and we have a zero waste delivery system. There is no single use plastic in our business. All of our packaging is recyclable or compostable. We have a significant emphasis on plant-based options in our menus and have water & power conservation practices in place throughout our business. Working with Energia helps to support all of these important measures."
