Contractors To Start Work On £100,000 Road Scheme In Tyrone

Contractors are preparing to start work on a £100,000 road scheme in Co Tyrone.

The work, which is taking place on the B165 Bells Park Road, Victoria Bridge, will commence on Thursday 03 December.

The works will begin near the A5 Melmount Road junction and progress westwards for 480 metres and will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of the road.

A full road closure will be required to facilitate the resurfacing works. A two way traffic diversion will be in operation via the A5 Melmount Rd, A5 Great Northern Link, B85 Urney Road and B165 Bellspark Road. Access for residents and landowners will be maintained but delays should be expected.

To facilitate the works, a daily road closure will be put in place (Monday to Saturday) between the hours of 8am and 6pm with works due to be completed by Saturday 12 December 2020.

Completion of the work is expected by 12 December.
