Gas Networks Ireland Awards Five-Year Contract

Gas Networks Ireland has presented GMC Utilities Group with a five-year contract for the provision of NSWC Lot 1 services.

The contract will include Distribution Construction comprising of reinforcement/feeder mains, domestic/commercial connections and pressure reduction. Distribution Maintenance will also be delivered, including service relays, gun barrel replacement, alterations, cabinet/meter replacement and cut and cap services.

Further works under the contract are siteworks (meter fitting, purge and relights etc.), leak management, steel skid services and networks meter reading.

Jim O'Gorman, Head of Contract for GMC, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded this five year national contract to provide a range of services to Gas Networks Ireland. Our team are currently mobilising for the contract and looking forward to the 31 July commencement date."
