Essential Hydrant Replacement Works Continue In Co Louth

Essential hydrant replacement works are being carried out to secure the supply for consumers in Donore Road Industrial Estate and surrounding areas in Co Louth.

While works are ongoing customers in the Donore Road Industrial Estate and Matthews Lane will experience water outages, while surrounding areas of Platin Road, Bryanstown, Sunnyside, Dublin Road, Marian Park and Ballsgrove may experience low water pressure for short periods.

When works are completed it may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers, however it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.

Donal Heaney, Irish Water said: "Irish Water understands the inconvenience caused when works occur and thanks customers for their patience while we complete these essential works to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in these areas."
