An emergency road repair has been completed in the County Kerry village of Farranfore.
Irish Water worked with Kerry County Council to deliver the work following pipe laying works last night, 16 September.
Closures were in place to facilitate the work on the N22 Killarney to Tralee road.
This project forms part of Irish Water's National Leakage Reduction Programme and will deliver a safer, more reliable water supply once complete.
Irish Water continues to work at this time with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services. Irish Water would like to remind people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.
