Lagan Gateway Project Wins CEF Award

The Lagan Gateway project has been recognised with one of Northern Ireland's most prestigious construction awards.

Charles Brand, the firm behind the scheme, was presented with the Social/Community Project prize for the project at the CEF Awards on Thursday 07 October.

The CEF Awards showcase the best of the construction industry in Northern Ireland and celebrate the industry's achievements, promoting excellence and giving recognition to those companies who are achieving the highest standards of construction.

The Lagan Gateway project has been open for some months has had extensive use for cycling, walking, and commuting for the local community.

The site is also the starting point for the £17m flood alleviation scheme due to start in Spring 2022, also awarded to Charles Brand.
