A programme of roadworks has been announced for Cherryvalley, Belfast, starting next week.
The Department for Infrastructure is investing £96,000 to deliver improvements along Cherryvalley between Knock Road and Gilnahirk Road.
Work will begin on Monday 18 October and run until Monday 25 October.
During these dates weekday road closures will be in place between 8am and 6pm. Diversionary routes will be clearly signed for traffic via Gilnahirk Road, Kings Road, Knock Road and Kensington Road. Access will be maintained for residents.
Road users should allow additional time when planning their journey and comply with all temporary traffic restrictions.
Discussing the upcoming work, Infrastructure Minister Nichola Mallon said: "This significant investment will greatly improve the strength and surface quality of this road. I would like to thank the travelling public and local residents in advance for their cooperation while these much needed works are completed."
