Belfast-based construction firm FK Lowry has held a Safety 'Stand Down' Event to mark this year's CIF Safety Week.
The firm took part in the UK-wide initiative to eliminate accidents in work and continue to drive important in health and safety performance with an event at one of its project sites.
HSEQ Manager, Alasdair Revie, Piling Director Sam Pyper and Contracts Manager Adrian O'Rourke addressed FK Lowry's Operations Teams on a range of H&S issues from Mental Health & Wellbeing to Fatigue and Safe Driving.
Commenting on the event, FK Lowry's Piling Director, Sam Pyper said: "The CIF Safety Week is something that we look forward to each year. It's a terrific opportunity to pause, reset and look at hazards and risks individually. It's also an excellent opportunity to listen to our Teams and to discuss concerns that they might have. We welcome and support the initiative by the Construction Industry Federation."
