Applications Sought To Improve Public Realm In Tipperary Towns

Property owners in Thurles, Templemore and Roscrea, Co Tipperary, are being invited to apply for funding to improve the streetscape and public realm.

This investment will support owners in improving their properties and public areas with shop fascia signage replacements, painting, environmental improvements and more.

Tipperary County Council has confirmed the scheme will fund up to 50% of the approved cost of the works subject to a maximum of €500.

Priority will be given to applications for properties that are in need of works in order to prevent them from becoming and or continuing to be derelict.

Completed applications should be clearly marked 'Thurles MD Town Enhancement & Painting Scheme 2022' and returned to Sharon Scully, District Administrator, Thurles Municipal District, Castle Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary by 4.30pm on 20 May 2022.
