Residents on the Sligo Road, Enniskillen, have been informed their water is safe to use following the lifting of a Boil Water Notice.

NI Water put a temporary Boil Water Notice in place on a number of properties on the Sligo Road following damage to a watermain in the area by a third party contractor.

Dymphna Gallagher, Head of Drinking Water Regulation explained: "We would like to thank our customers for their patience and working with us while this situation was resolved. Customers appreciated the inconvenience was necessary and that our number one priority was always to ensure the quality and safety of their drinking water."  

Customers have been notified that their water is safe to use again as normal.
