A crew of engineers have successfully delivered repairs on a burst water main in Ballina, Co Mayo.
Irish Water and Mayo County Council completed the repairs in the early hours of yesterday morning, 14 August.
Sean Higgins from Irish Water said: "Crews from Irish Water and Mayo County Council completed the repair works at approximately 4pm. The majority of customer should have their water supply returned at this stage but it may take a little while longer for some areas.
"I would like to thank everyone for their patience and co-operation throughout this unplanned outage."
